Q HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIR TAKE?
A. The average repair at County Line takes between 3 and 5 days depending on the damage and the availability of parts. Small jobs (mirror replacement, windshield repair/replacement, alignments, bumper replacement) can take as little as one day. Extensive repairs will take longer. When we give you an estimate, we will tell you an estimated completion date. We always strive for that date unless a new part holds up the repair.
Q. CAN YOU SAVE MY DEDUCTIBLE?
A. No. The deductible amount is an agreement between you, the policyholder, and your insurance company and represents the portion of a claim that you have agreed to pay. Steer clear of any repair shop that claims it can save your deductible, as that is fraud. Such a shop may bill your insurance company for a repair they didn’t perform in order to recoup the money. If they are willing to commit insurance fraud, how can you be sure they repaired your car to the manufacturer’s specification or safety?
Q. FOR HOW LONG ARE MY REPAIRS GUARANTEED?
A. County Line offers a Lifetime Warranty on all repairs. Body and uni-body (structure and frame) repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own the car. Most of our manufacturers warranty their parts for 90 days while our paint supplier offers a lifetime warranty on paint.
Q. WILL COUNTY LINE REPORT MY REPAIRS TO CARFAX?
A. No. At County Line, your repairs and service are confidential and are not shared with anyone except your insurance company.
Q. WHAT MAKES MY CAR A TOTAL LOSS?
A. Typically, if the repairs needed exceed 70-80% of the current market value of the car, your insurance company will usually declare the vehicle a total loss. That percentage can vary from one insurance company to another, so be sure to verify the percentage with your insurance company.
